I am a Wildlife and Landscape Photographer based in the beautiful city of Adelaide, South Australia. Starting with a Kodak Instamatic at the age of seven, I've been a lensman most of my life, transitioning from 110 film to 35mm, to medium format and finally to digital. I've had experience with a number of different camera systems, including Mamiya, Pentax, Canon, Minolta and Hasselblad. My preferred brand however is Nikon, and I have an extensive collection of Nikon cameras and Nikkor lenses.
To begin with I would photograph anything and everything, never really finding my niche, until a trip to the far north of South Australia where I encountered a pair of Wedge-Tailed Eagles (a trip on which I didn't have camera). From then on it became my mission to capture one of those magnificent birds on film and - having learned to always travel with a camera - I soon accomplished that mission. But one framed poster print of an Eagle wasn't enough and I soon moved on to other birds of prey and wildlife in general. Landscape photography soon followed, a natural part of being out in the wilderness.
I now travel throughout South Australia, and sometimes well beyond, chasing the light and the perfect shot.
